Limitations with BusinessObjects v4.1 in Extended Reporting


The BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Extended Reporting component has some limitations when used with the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) v4.1 platform.

BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Extended Reporting is an optional component that provides additional analysis capabilities and reporting derived from BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring performance metricsWith Extended Reporting, you can deliver reports designed to address the needs of business owners or other technical stakeholders in the organization.

Performance and availability report issues

If you are use extended reporting to produce performance and availability reports in the BI v4.1 platform, the Y axis labels and percentage values are not displayed for the following reports:

To correct the report display, log on to the BI launch pad and select the BMC EUEM - Extended Reports list:

  1. Double-click the title of the performance and availability report to be corrected.
     The report is displayed in the workspace pane.
  2. In the report Design mode, right-click over the Y axis area of the chart, and select Format chart from the menu.

  3. From the Select chart area list, select Value Axis.
  4. Clear the Visible option and click OK.

The report is redrawn with the correct labels and values.

Application Change Impact Analysis report issue

For the BI v4.1 platform, the Application Change Impact Analysis report does not show the volume (pages), availability, and performance values in the report's application summary section.
