Understanding Performance Analysis query results
When you run a query, the Performance Analysis page displays the following information:
- Summary section with the main information about the analysis and its progress
- Results of the query aggregated according to various metrics
Analysis summary
The following figure shows an example of the Summary section for a query in progress:
Performance Analysis query in progress
The Summary section provides the following information:
- Filter used to run an analysis, consisting of the record type, the segment of the monitored traffic (Watchpoint name), and the time range
For example, [Page] analysis on [all traffic] over [Last 30 days] - In Progress — Percentage of data that the system has searched, compared to the total amount of data
- Pages Scanned — Number of pages or objects that the system has scanned
- Pages Found — Number of detected pages or objects that meet the query criteria
- Sessions — Number of user sessions that contain the detected pages or objects
- Progress bar — Amount of data that the system has searched, compared to the total quantity of found records (corresponds to the In progress percentage)
As shown in the following figure, you can view additional information about the query by clicking the Details tab. Click Details again to hide the additional information.
Summary section with details
This section shows the following details about the query:
- Issued on — Date and time of query creation. The time is shown in the time zone configured in the Console.
- Time Range — Time interval for which the query is searching records. The time is shown in the time zone configured in the Console.
- Watchpoint — Name of the traffic segment that the query scans (if applicable)
- Filter — Filter expression used to search through the data (if applicable)
Click the Edit Filter button to refine the analysis by editing the query manually or by using the parameters in the aggregated results. After you have edited the analysis filter, click Restart Analysis. If you want to save the analysis settings for later use (for example, you want to check a certain application's performance after the issue has been fixed), click Add to Favorites.
Aggregated results
You can scroll through the list of the aggregated query results, or you can filter the results by clicking the Latencies, Application, User, and Infrastructure tabs. As shown in the following example, clicking the Latencies tab displays only the latency metrics.

You use query parameters to narrow down the number of detected sessions. Excluding the latency metrics, parameters display only the most frequent values. All the remaining values are aggregated into others. For information about the metrics and attributes displayed in the aggregated query results, see End-user-experience-metrics.
Where to go from here
After you have refined and analyzed the query, proceed with reviewing the list of problematic sessions.
