Verifying the update

After you have updated the Collector or Analyzer component, you can verify the update and see whether the system is capturing traffic.

To perform this procedure, you must have Administrator-level access, or higher.

To verify a system update

1. In the Analyzer or Collector interface, point to Administration > Device status, and click System information & licenses.
    In the Version Information section, you can see the system version number and the date of the last update.

2. (Optional) To determine whether the system is capturing traffic, click the Cycle LCD button.

   If the system is not capturing traffic, the interface displays n/a. If the system is capturing traffic, the interface displays information about the component — for example, the CPU and memory usage.
