Sending BMC Application Diagnostics events by using SNMP

You can configure the Application Diagnostics Server to send events over network devices that support Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) versions 1 or 2. In this way, you can monitor performance and usage with SNMP-based devices.

To perform this procedure, you must have Administrator-level access, or higher, or have tenant Application Owner-level access.

1. In the BMC Application Management Console, from the Diagnostics tab, click Administration > Integration Configuration.
2. Enable and activate integrations with BMC Application Diagnostics.
3. In the SNMP Integration panel, click the arrow in the upper-right corner and select Edit.

4. Enter the SNMP connection details.

5. Click Save.
