BMC Application Performance Management as a Service system architecture
BMC Application Performance Management as a Service combines BMC End User Experience Management as a Service, BMC Application Diagnostics as a Service, and information delivered from the Akamai Intelligent Platform to provide end-to-end performance monitoring. Overview of tenant and provider architectures
The following table describes the functions of each component in the delivery of BMC Application Performance Management as a Service.

1 | Collection devices | Leverages a passive data tap on the web application delivery network. The data tap can be configured as a span, mirror, or any other packet replication device or protocol that enables the traffic to be monitored.
