Monitoring and managing Diagnostics Agents
The list of BMC Application Diagnostics Agents enables you to view the availability status of each Agent and the name of the applied policy file. From the Agents window, you can change the application and tier that is associated with the Agent. You can also delete BMC Application Diagnostics Agents that are no longer online.

To perform this procedure, you must have Administrator-level access, or higher, or have tenant Application Owner-level access.
To view the list of BMC Application Diagnostics Agents
From the Diagnostics tab, click Administration > Agents. The Agents window title shows the total number of BMC Application Diagnostics Agents that are listed.
The list of Agents is displayed in sortable columns with the following information:
To modify BMC Application Diagnostics Agent configuration
You can add or change the application or tier that is associated with the BMC Application Diagnostics Agent.
- From the Diagnostics tab, click Administration > Agents.
- From the shortcut menu, select Edit.
- Perform one or more of the following tasks:
- Edit the Application Server Display Name.
- Select an Application
- Select a Tier.
- Click Save.
To delete a BMC Application Diagnostics Agent
- From the Diagnostics tab, click Administration > Agents.
Select one or more Agents to delete.
You cannot select or delete an online Agent. If you select an Agent with associated data, the Agent name turns red.- Click the Delete Agents button, located at the top of the list.
- Click OK to confirm deletion.
