Managing SSL server certificates on components
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) keys and certificates secure the following types of connections:
- Between users of the web interfaces and the system itself
- Between Analyzer and Collector components (including APM Central and Monitor components)
By default, the components have a self-signed certificate. However, you can replace the default certificate with a certificate issued by a recognized authority. The following topics provide information and instructions about working with the server certificates:
