Creating an Access Manager user for the tenant

Before tenant users can begin using the system, a security user for the service provider must create the initial Access Manager user for the tenant. After you create this user, you must provide the Access Manager credentials to the tenant administrator who is responsible for access management for the tenant. To perform this procedure, you must have Security-level access.

Before you begin

A tenant must exist for the new Access Manager user.

To create a tenant Access Manager user

  1. In the Console, click System Access, and then click Tenant Management.
The list of system tenants opens.
  2. In the tenants list, click the ... button for the tenant for which you want to create an Access Manager, and then click Add Access Manager
  3. In the form that opens, enter the user name, email address, and password for the Access Manager user, and click Save.
  4. Send the Access Manager credentials to the tenant user who creates and manages user accounts and roles for the tenant account.
