Connecting the Aggregation Server to a data warehouse

  1. Log on to the Aggregation Server for Extended Reporting web interface.
  2. Click Data warehouse in General Settings.
  3. From the Action menu, select Edit. 
  4. Complete the following fields and click Save.
    • IP/DNS Name: Enter the address of the Oracle database server.
    • Port: Enter the listener port of the Oracle database server. The default is port 1521.
    • Instance name: enter the Oracle instance name where data must be stored (or loaded).
    • ETL user password: password

      You define the Instance name and the ETL password when you create an Oracle instance for the Extended Reporting data warehouse.
  5. To save the changes, you must click OK to restart the Aggregation Server. If you click Cancel, the changes will not be saved. The soft system reboot takes a few minutes.
  6. To test the system connection, click Test in the Action menu.
