Monitoring core components


On the System Deployment menu of the Console, click Components.

The list of components opens. Here you can monitor the following parameters:

  • Component — component name. For Real User Collector components, you will also see the statistics on the related Cloud Probes.
  • Type — one of the component types:
    • analyzer — Real User Analyzer
    • collector — Real User Collector
    • monolithic — Real User Monitor
    • traffic-server — Performance Analytics Engine
  • Status — one of the options:
    • OK — The connection is established.
    • ERROR — the component was not added correctly or the component is down or there is a connection error between Console and the component.
    • UNKNOWN — The Console is trying to establish a connection to the component.
  • IP/DNS Name:Port — component IP address or DNS Name and port
  • Traffic Processing — number of requests processed by the component per second (during the last five minutes period)
  • Discarded Traffic— number of requests discarded by the component per second (during the last five minutes period), according to one or more of the following reasons:
    • Traffic capture problem
    • Broken hits
