One or more of your configuration settings failed to migrate


During the upgrade process, the following message is displayed:

One or more of your configuration settings failed to migrate. To enable the APM Console to function properly, the affected configuration settings were reset to the system default settings. For further assistance, contact BMC Customer Support.

When you upgrade BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring, the upgrade process also migrates your configuration settings and plug-ins from the earlier release. In rare circumstances, a problem can occur during the migration process. When the migration program encounters a problem, it applies system default configuration settings to temporarily fix the problem, and then proceeds to the next setting. Because the system created a backup of your original configuration settings before the migration started, your settings are not lost, and are saved in the following location: /var/opt/victor/conf/managed

You can continue to use the product, but to resolve the migration problem and remove the error message, contact BMC Customer Support.
