Encrypting the password for Cloud Probe
During a silent installation of the Real User Cloud Probe, you might see the following message: You must enter a password that was encrypted by the Maintenance tool. This message appears if you enter a non-encrypted password in the cloudprobe-silent-option file or while modifying the configuration details.
To successfully encrypt the password with the Cloud Probe Maintenance Tool, perform one of the following tasks:
- For silent installations, encrypt the password and copy it to the cloudprobe-silent-option file.
- For configuration modifications, change the password with the Maintenance Tool GUI or with the encryption options in the command-line interface.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
