Managing server certificates on the Console

Before you change the server certificate, you must store the replacement certificate on an available hard drive or network storage device. To perform this procedure, you must have Security-level access. 

To change the server certificate

1. In the BMC Application Performance Management Console interface, click System Access, and then click Server Certificate.
2. Click Update server certificate.
3. Click Browse and locate the certificate file on your hard drive or network storage device.
   The PFX file contains the certificate and encryption-key material.
4. In the PFX Password box, type a password for the certificate file and the private key password.
   Passwords are optional.
5. Click OK.
6. Reboot the system.

To reset the server certificate

You can reset the server certificate and restore the default one.

1. In the BMC Application Performance Management Console interface, click System Access, and then click Server Certificate.
2. In the Action menu, select Reset to factory self-signed certificate.
    The confirmation message appears.
3. Click OK.
