Configuring a confidentiality policy for synthetic transactions
The default configuration of the confidentiality policy does not display the parameters for synthetic transactions. This topic presents instructions about adding a rule to the configuration policy.
Before you begin
Install the TEA Agent for synthetic monitoring.
To perform this procedure, you must have Security-level access.
To configure a confidentiality policy for synthetic parameters
- In the Real User Collector component, point to the Administration > Security settings, and then click Confidentiality policy.
- According to the installed version of the BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring product, perform the following step:
- (Version 2.5.00) In the "Confidentiality policy for URI - Query" section, from the Action menu, select Add.
- (Version 2.5.01) In the "Confidentiality policy for Post - Param" section, from the Action menu, select Add.
- Enter bmc_syn_* for the key, and ensure that Do nothing (the default value) is selected.
- Click Save.
