Downloading the most recent geolocation database

For features in BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring that rely on geolocation to function properly, the geolocation database must be up to date. In a Real User Analyzer component, you can check for and update to the latest database. To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.

To download the latest geolocation database

  1. In the Real User Analyzer, point to Administration > General settings, and then click Geolocation.
  2. Click Check if newer geolocation database is available.
     If a newer database than yours is available, the system prompts you to download it.
  3. Click Download and specify the save location on your computer.

    You can now upload it into the device.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
