Customizing the appearance of the Console

When you provide BMC Application Performance Management as a service, you can customize the following elements of the Console so that it matches or complements the branding of your organization: 

• Product name that appears in the header of the Console
• Corporate logo of your organization
• URL to your organization's Home page
• Background and menu colors

Before you begin

You must be logged on as a user with the Administrator role.

To customize the appearance of the Console

1. In the Console, select System Access > Tenant Management.
2. In the Action menu, click Manage Service Identity.
3. In the Product Name box, type the title that you want your customers to see in the header of the Console user interface. 
   
   For example, ACME SaaS Consumer Monitor.
4. In the Corporate Logo URL box, enter the URL of the image you want the system to display as your corporate logo. 
   
   Ensure that the image dimensions do not exceed 190 x 60 pixels.
   
   To discard the custom image and use the default BMC Software logo, clear the text box. 
5. In Key Color 1, enter the hexadecimal value of the color you want the system to show in the header and menus. 
   
   For example, #0164a9.
6. In Key Color 2, enter the hexadecimal value of the color you want the system to use for page and field backgrounds. 
   
   For example, #c1e1f5.
   
   To discard the custom color and use the default color, clear the text box.   
7. To see what your settings will look like before you apply them to the system, click Preview.
8. To save your settings and apply them to the system, click Apply.
