Specifying a name for the device

You can set a name for your devices in BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring that identifies this device within the system. For example, on a home page of the Console component you can identify the Analyzer components by their device names. To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.

  1. In the Real User Analyzer component, point to Administration > Integration, and then click Network identity.
  2. On the Action menu for the Device name section, click Edit.
  3. In the Device name box, enter a new name for the device.
  4. Click Save.

    The system uses the specified name for the component to distinguish it from other components.
