You must install the components in a 64-bit environment. Your server hardware and hypervisor must support 64-bit guests.

Notes

BMC distributes the components in Open Virtualization Format (OVF) version 1.0 format. OVF 1.0 files are supported by VMware vSphere 4 (and later) products, VMware vCenter 4 (and later), and VMware ESX/ESXi 4 (and later). For backward compatibility with earlier versions of vCenter and ESX, you must use a conversion tool, such as VMware vCenter Converter 4.0. (VMware discontinued support for the OVF format in vCenter Converter 4.3.) For more information, see the VMware website.
You cannot install these components on VMware Virtual Server 2.0 because the minimum requirements for these components include 4 gigabytes of RAM. Virtual Server cannot allocate more than 3.6 gigabytes of memory to a single virtual machine.
