Configuring the system to detect Akamai receipts
The default name of the Akamai receipt file is Receipts.rcpt, and under most conditions there is no
reason to change it. If a different file name has been provided to Akamai during the configuration of the service; you need to change it accordingly without including the full path. This name must match the transmitted file from Akamai. For example, if the full path sent to Akamai was _http://www.mycompany.com/myrecpts/recptfile.htm_, you must change receipts.rcpt to recptfile.html.
To perform this action, you must have Operator-level access.
- On the Administration page of the Real User Analyzer, click Object type detection.
- In the Akamai Component Visibility section, on the Action menu, click Edit.
- In the Receipt container name box, type the name of the Akamai receipts file.
The default name for the file is Receipts.recpt. - By default, the system includes Akamai receipts in the traffic it monitors. If you want the system to ignore them, clear the Receipt contains contribute to traffic check box.
- By default, the system calculates the Page-render time metric for ghost pages (pages whose cantainers are hosted by an Akamai cache). If you do not want the system to calculate this metric for ghost pages, clear the Calculate Page-render time check box.
- To enable the system to begin detecting Akamai receipts, click Akamai Component Visibility ON.
