Verifying the installation


You can verify that a component instance was installed successfully via a ping command, using the IP address of the instance's management port as the target.

Example

In this example, the IP address of the component instance's management port is 10.160.1.243.

C:\>ping 10.160.1.243

Pinging 10.160.1.243 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 10.160.1.243: bytes=32 time=172ms TTL=55
Reply from 10.160.1.243: bytes=32 time=165ms TTL=55
Reply from 10.160.1.243: bytes=32 time=164ms TTL=55

Ping statistics for 10.160.1.243:

The instance replied, suggesting that it was installed successfully.
