Uploading the geolocation database

Keep the geolocation database up to date so that features relying on geolocation will work properly. After you have downloaded the latest database, use the following procedure to upload and install it.

The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.

To upload and install the geolocation database

  1. In the

    , point to Administration > General settings, and then click Geolocation.
  2. On the Action menu, click Upload a new geolocation database.
  3. Click Browse and select the database archive that you downloaded.
  4. Click Save.

    After you upload the geolocation database, the system reboots.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
