The system can give geographic context to the user traffic that it captures by using the embedded database containing geographic information about all known IP addresses.
Database provides the following geolocation fields:
- Country
- Region (state)
- Metro code
- City
- Organization
- ISP
- Reverse DNS name
Because internet address allocations change constantly, the database that the system uses for geographic information about your traffic becomes less accurate over time.
