Changing the layout of the Dashboards page

You can change the way that dashboards are arranged in the web interface. This topics describes the following procedures:

• changing the dashboard location
• changing the group name and layout
• changing the group location in the dashboard

You can move a group to a different dashboard by dragging it to the tab of the target dashboard.

Changing the layout of the Dashboards page can involve:

• Changing the name of dashboard
• Changing the location of the dashboard tab
• Changing the name or layout of a group
• Changing the location of a group
• Changing the location of a dashlet

To change the location of the dashboard

1. Point to the dashboard's tab and use the tab's drag handle to drag the tab left or right until a space opens for it.
2. Drop the tab into position.

To change the group name or the dashboard layout

1. On the group shortcut menu, click Edit settings.
2. Specify new group settings:
   • In the Group title text box, enter a new name for the group.
   • Select a different preconfigured group layout.
3. Click OK.

To change the location of a group on a dashboard

1. Click and hold the group title.
2. Drag the group up or down until a green box appears, which indicates a possible target position for the group.
3. Drop the group in the position that you want.
