Changing your password

When you start a console session, the system asks you to enter a user name and password. If your account is managed locally (rather than via LDAP), you can change your password. The system might prompt you to change your password the first time you log on, and if your organization requires regular password changes, the system will be periodically prompting you to change it.

To change your password

  1. In the top right corner of the interface, click your user name.
  2. On the User settings page, select Change password.
  3. Enter your current and new passwords in the corresponding boxes.
  4. Click Save.

Your password has been changed.
