Controlling remote access to the command-line interface
When secure-shell (SSH) access is on, you can remotely access a component through its CLI. This access is useful if the web interface becomes unusable and you must make configuration changes.
However, you generally want to restrict CLI access. For example, if you are making configuration changes through the web interface, you do not want other users to be able to configure the same features through the CLI. When you switch SSH access off, users can no longer access the component through its CLI.
To prevent SSH access
To prevent SSH access, on the Administration tab, set the SSH Access switch to the OFF position.
Users cannot now remotely access the CLI of the component.
