Defining and managing Watchpoints

By default, the system includes a number of typical filters that you can select to create Watchpoints, for example:

• Traffic to a particular web application
• Traffic from a particular group of end users
• Traffic from a particular geographic region
• Traffic from a particular client platform

You might define Watchpoints based on these default filters, but also you can build sophisticated filter expressions using regular expressions in the Expression Builder.

To monitor your web traffic in a meaningful way, you can use Watchpoints.

A Watchpoint is a configurable subset of web traffic, such as traffic associated with an application or a group of applications. Using Watchpoints, you can monitor the traffic to and from a group of similar users, such as the users of a particular web browser or users from a particular geographic location, and so on.
