Reporting on performance and availability with SAP BusinessObjects

You use the SAP BusinessObjects BI launch pad to generate performance and availability reports from BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Extended Reporting. For a list of Web Intelligence reports that you can create with this component, see Extend-performance-reporting-and-analysis. 

To run Extended Reports from the SAP BusinessObjects BI launch pad

1. Log on to the BI launch pad.
   1. Enter the BI launch pad address into a web browser, such as http://<BusinessObjectsServer>:<portNumber>/BOE/BI.
   2. At the logon prompt, provide your BusinessObjects user name and password and click Log On. 
2. Click the Documents tab.
3. In the Folders left-hand pane, expand Public Folders and then BMC EUEM - Extended Reports.
4. Double-click the title of the report that you want to view.
    The report is displayed in the workspace panel.
5. In the Prompts dialog, specify your criteria for the report by selecting a prompt from the Prompts Summary.
   
   1. Application name (required) - Select an Application name and click the right arrow to select it.
   2. Time filter (required) - Select a Period Type (such as Custom time range, Last week, Last month) and click the right arrow to select it. 
   3. If you selected a Custom time range, define the first and last day for the custom time range.
6. Click Run Query to view the report in the BI launch pad. The data for these reports is specified by an Administrator in the Aggregation Server for Extended Reporting user interface. For details, see Configuring-performance-compliance-KPI-for-Extended-Reporting.
