Updating the geolocation database
The geolocation database that the system uses for geographic information about the captured traffic becomes less accurate over time. To ensure correct operation of the system features that use the geographical data (for example, the Global-Application-Delivery-dashlet), the geolocation database must be kept up to date. The Administrator role checks for updates to and updates the geolocation database for both the Analyzer and Collector components.
To update the geolocation database
Use one of the following options:
- Go to the Device update page of the Analyzer or Collector interface, and install updates for the geolocation database from the list of updates.
- Go to the Geolocation page of the Analyzer interface, and download the most recent geolocation database.
