Creating tenant users via LDAP
To use remote authentication of the tenant users, the Tenant Access Manager must create users through LDAP.
Before you begin
You must enable the LDAP service. See Configuring-access-policies-Console.
To authenticate tenant users through an LDAP server
- In the product, click System Access, and then click Accounts.
- On the Action menu, click Add Account.
- In the User Name box, enter the name for the account (for example, MyOperator).
- In the Authentication Method list, select LDAP.
For local authentication, see Adding-local-user-accounts-for-the-tenant. - In the Password and Confirm Password boxes, enter the password for this user (for example, changeme).
- In the Role list, select one of the available roles (for example, Application Owner).
- Click Save.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
