Creating tenant accounts
Security users can create tenant accounts for their software-as-a-service (SaaS) customers.
To create a tenant account
In the BMC Application Performance Management Console, click System Access and then click Tenant Management.
The Tenant Management page appears.
- On the Action menu, select Add Tenant.
- Provide a name for the tenant.
If necessary, you can change the tenant name later. - (Optional) Provide a description of the tenant.
- In the Domain box, specify the domain of the tenant's website (for example, tenant-company.com).
The domain name and the user name make up the logon name for the tenant user (for example, john@tenant-company.com). - From the Analyzer list, select an Analyzer component to feed data from.
The list displays all the Analyzer components that are connected to the Console instance. In the Key box, provide a case-sensitive tenant key.
The system uses this field to create a folder for storing the tenant data. The tenant users and managers cannot see this value.- Click Save.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
