Viewing a list of TEA Agents
A BMC Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent is a remote global agent that runs Execution Plans on groups of agents.

To view the list of registered TEA Agents
- On the BMC Application Performance Management Console, click the Synthetic tab, then click TEA Agents.
A list of registered Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agents is displayed. - To modify the display, you can perform any of the following actions:
- To sort the list based on a specific column, click the relevant column heading. To sort in reverse order, click the column heading again.
- To filter the list by the status of the Agents, select an option from the list under the Status column heading—All, Active, Inactive, or Stale.
- To filter the list by other criteria, start typing a value in one of the boxes under the column headings. You can filter by any of the following criteria:
- Agent name
- Fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the host computer
- Agent Group of the TEA Agent
TEA Agent status description
The TEA Agent page displays the status of TEA Agent, according to the TEA Agent heartbeat received by the BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring Plug-in.
- Active. The plug-in has received a heartbeat signal from the TEA Agent in the last five minutes. A heartbeat signal is sent every 30 seconds.
- Inactive. The plug-in has not received a heartbeat signal from the TEA Agent for more than five minutes.
- Stale. The plug-in has not received a heartbeat signal from the TEA Agent for more than 48 hours.
