Output Queue Configuration dialog box


Use this dialog box to configure Output Queue on a given host.

This dialog box is applicable to PATROL console only.

To access this dialog box, right-click the OUTQ node and select KM Commands > Configure Output QueueThis dialog box contains the following items:

Description

Specify output queues to monitor

Select an option to discover output queues for monitoring.

Monitor all output queues with files

Select this option to monitor all output queues that contain spool files.

Monitor all HELD output queues with files

Select this option to monitor all HELD output queues that contain spool files.

Monitor all RELEASED output queues with files

Select this option to monitor all RELEASED output queues that contain spool files.

Monitor all output queues with writer associated

Select this option to monitor all output queues associated with a writer.

Monitor specified output queues

Select this option to monitor user specified output queues. If you select this option, add the output queue and the library details in the Output Queue List Configuration dialog box.

Apply

Click to apply the configuration.

Close

Click to close the dialog box.

Output Queue List Configuration dialog box 

To access this dialog box, right-click the OUTQ node and select KM Commands > Configure Output Queue. Select the Monitor specified output queues option.

Output Queue

Enter the name of the output queue that you want to monitor. Input may also be a regular expression pattern.

Library

Enter the name of the library where the output queue is located. Input may also be a regular expression pattern.

Add

Click to add the output queue name and library combination to the list of output queues.

Remove

Select an output queue and click to remove it from the list of output queues.

Apply

Click to save the configuration.

Cancel

Click to close the configuration window.

Exclude Output Queue List Configuration dialog box 

To access this dialog box, right-click the OUTQ node and select KM Commands > Exclude Output Queue option.

Output Queue

Enter the name of the output queue that you want to exclude from monitoring. Input may also be a regular expression pattern.

Library

Enter the name of the library where the output queue is located. Input may also be a regular expression pattern.

Add

Click to add the output queue name to the list of output queues.

Remove

Select an output queue name and click to remove it from the list of output queues.

Apply

Click to save the configuration.

Cancel

Click to close the configuration window.
