Setting the Status of a Composite Parameter

The state of the composite parameter does not affect the state of the BMC PATROL parameters used to define the composite parameter. For example, if you can make the composite parameter inactive, the parameters used in the expression can remain active.

If the parameters used in a composite parameter expression are inactive, the composite parameter is not calculated.
