Canceling a Scheduled Blackout Script

This task describes how to cancel the blackout period for a script. When you perform this task, BMC PATROL resumes propagating state changes (for example, alarms and warnings) for the instances that were part of the blackout script. BMC PATROL does not delete the blackout script from its designated location.

To Cancel an Existing Blackout Script

  1. Access the SCHEDULER application menu as described in Accessing-KM-Commands-and-InfoBoxes.
  2. Select Schedule Blackouts from the SCHEDULER application menu.
  3. Select a blackout script from the Blackout Script Files group box.
  4. Select Cancel Existing Blackout (Selected Script) from the Actions group box and click OK.

The blackout period is canceled, and PATROL resumes propagating state changes for the instances that were part of the script.
