Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

Blackouts

The SCHEDULER application class gives you the ability to suspend monitoring of applications, which is also known as blacking out BMC PATROL objects. This feature enables you to designate which instances are blacked out or hidden from monitoring and when they are.
