Viewing duplicate user id entry

This task describes how to view a list of users who have duplicate user ID entries, which results from running multiple sessions.

Before You Begin

To perform this task, you must provide a user account and password. It does not have to be the root account.

To view a list of users with multiple sessions running

  1. Access the SECURITY application menu as described in Accessing-KM-Commands-and-InfoBoxes.
  2. Select Administration > List Duplicate User ID Entry. PATROL prompts you for a user account and password.
  3. Type the appropriate user name and password and click OK. PATROL writes the information to a PATROL task object, List Duplicate User ID Entry, in the UNIX OS container.
  4. Access the List Duplicate User ID Entry task object and view the results.
