Monitoring zpools
The PATROL Knowledge Module for UNIX and Linux enables you to monitor zpools on Solaris 10 operating systems. Zpools are a collection of virtual devices that provide physical storage. ZFS filesystems are created on top of the storage pools. PATROL Knowledge Module for UNIX and Linux enables you to view statistical data for zpools created on the computer such as:
- Collective size and used size of the storage pool
- Bandwidth consumed by the input-output operations of the pool
- Health of the pool
- Alternate root of the pool
- ZFS filesystems created on top of a zpool
