Viewing Processes that Belong to a User


This task describes how to view all processes that were started by a specific user.

To List a User's Processes

  1. Access the USERS application menu as described in Accessing KM Commands and InfoBoxes.
  2. Select Process List.
     BMC PATROL displays the Process List dialog box.
  3. Type the user name and click Apply.
     BMC PATROL writes the results to a BMC PATROL task object (Process List Users) in the UNIX OS container.
  4. Access the Process List Users task object as described in Accessing KM Commands and InfoBoxes and view the results. Your results should resemble this example:

The output has the following format. Following table defines each field.
