Viewing the Number of Sessions Running on the System


This task describes how to view the total number of sessions running on the system at the present time or in the last couple of hours. This information is displayed in the Number of Sessions field of the USERS application class InfoBox. For information on how to access the InfoBox from your console, see Accessing-KM-Commands-and-InfoBoxes.

To View the Total Number of Session Now Running on the System

Access the USERS application InfoBox as described in Accessing KM Commands and InfoBoxesBMC PATROL displays the USERS InfoBox, which provides the number of sessions.

To View the Total Number of Sessions Recently Running on the System

  1. Access the USERS application so that you can view its parameters.
  2. Open the USRNoSessions parameter.

BMC PATROL displays a graph that shows the number of sessions running on the system over time.
