Viewing Domain Resources

This task describes how to view the resources allocated and utilized by logical domains.

To view the Domain Resources

  1. Access the LDOM application class to view its parameters.
  2. Open the LDOMNumVCPUs parameter to view the number of virtual CPUs that have been allocated to the domain. This parameter reports only from inside the primary domain.
  3. Access the LDOM application class InfoBox as described in Accessing KM Commands and InfoBoxes. BMC PATROL displays the domain uptime and allocated memory.

To view the Domain Resource Utilization

  1. Access the LDOM application class to view its parameters.
  2. Open the LDOMCpuUtil parameter to view the CPU utilization for the domain. This parameter is active and reports only for domains that are active. A logical domain in bound or inactive state does not use the CPU.
BMC PATROL displays a graph that shows the requested information over time.
