-Coll Parameters

The PSL data collection method gathers data by using only the BMC PATROL PSL collector parameters. The parameters with the -Coll suffix are collector parameters that interact directly with the UNIX utilities. These type of parameters issue the system calls and receives the data without having to interact with another data-gathering application.
