Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

Announcing support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 and 7.2 operating system

 BMC PATROL for UNIX and Linux now supports the following versions of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 64-bit 
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 64-bit  

Note

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 and 7.2 operating systems are supported on BMC PATROL for UNIX and Linux patch 4 (9.13.00.04). 

Monitoring of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 and 7.2 operating system are supported only by the BMC PATROL Script Language (PSL) data collection method.
