SNMP diagnostic parameter (SNMPH_testparm)

This parameter is used to perform diagnostics on the PATROL SNMP system. Use it to test the automatic SNMP traps that are issued through the event management system when an event is generated. This parameter's test uses Standard Event 11, which is triggered in PATROL when a parameter's value falls within an alarm range. It uses Standard Event 9 when the parameter's value falls within the OK range after having been in the alarm range.

Note

To use this parameter, you must set the pconfig variable /snmp/piV1m_list equal to a list of interested SNMP managers.
