Process Ownership Check (PROCPPOwnerCheck)

This parameter displays the results of a verification that a process is owned by an authorized user name. PATROL issues an alert if it discovers that the process is owned by an unauthorized user name.

Warning

Note

This parameter is deactivated if you have selected the Use Process Owners for Filtering check box while configuring a process. This is because the process filtering for the processes is based on owners, and thereby, the owner of the processes is always a subset of the provided owner set.
