Sharing Mode (LPARSharingMode)
This parameter displays whether the AIX SPLPAR is running in CAPPED or UNCAPPED mode. In the capped mode the processing capacity of the SPLPAR never exceeds the entitled capacity. In the uncapped mode the processing capacity of the SPLPAR can exceed the entitled capacity when the shared processor pool has idle CPU time. When SPLPAR is capped the SharingMode value is 1; when SPLPAR is uncapped the SharingMode value is 0. On AIX DLPAR running on POWER 6, this parameter displays whether the DLPAR is donating.
