Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

Connection Status  (ConnectionStatus)


This parameter indicates the connection status of the remote host.
 Valid values are:

  • 0 (Not Connected) – Connection is not established with the remote host.
  • 1 (OK) – Connection is established with the remote host.
  • 2 (Connection Failed) – The remote host is not reachable either due to network problem or the sshd process (ssh server) is not running on the remote host.
  • 3 (Login Failed) – Connection could not be established with the remote host because authentication failed due to incorrect logon credentials such as password and public and private key paths or invalid keys.
  • 4 (Session Disconnected) – Due to some problem, the ssh connection got disconnected.
