Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

PRINTER hierarchy

The PRINTER application class contains the instances of printers that are being monitored. Each printer instance contains a parameter that gathers information on the queue length of the printer.

The following figure illustrates the basic hierarchy. It does not necessarily display all the parameters in this application class.
