CPU hierarchy

The CPU application class contains parameters on requests made to the CPU, the size of the CPUs run queue, the amount of time the CPU is idle, CPU time consumed by the system, and CPU time consumed per user and other statistics. If the system has multiple CPUs, PATROL creates an SMP application instance for each process. Each SMP instance contains parameters on processor usage.

The following figure illustrates the basic hierarchy. It does not necessarily display all the parameters in this application class.
