Filesystem (Unix Storage)
This topic provides information about configuring the filesystems by using Central Monitoring Administration.
On the Add Monitor Types dialog, with the Monitoring Profile set to Unix Storage, and the Monitor Type set to Filesystem, provide the following details:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Filesystem Inclusion/Exclusion | |
Filesystem Include/Exclude Operation | |
Host name | Specify the host name to filter the filesystems. |
Exclude Filesystem | Specify the filesystem name to exclude. Enter regular expression to exclude multiple filesystems. Multiple regular expressions can be given by using a comma separator. To exclude Docker filesystems, you can use a regular expression. For example, /var/lib/docker.*,/var/lib/kubelet.*,/run/docker/netns.*,/run/docker/runtime.*,/app/docker.*,/var/lib/origin/openshift.* |
Include Filesystem | Specify the filesystem name to include. Enter regular expression to include multiple filesystems. Multiple regular expressions can be given by using a comma separator. |
Filesystem Exclusion on basis of type | |
Ignore NFS Filesystems | Select this checkbox to remove NFS filesystem instances. |
Ignore CDFS Filesystems | Select this checkbox to remove CDFS filesystem instances. |
Ignore PROC Filesystems | Select this checkbox to remove PROC filesystem instances. |
Ignore Custom Filesystems | Select this checkbox to remove Custom type filesystem instances. |
Custom Filesystem type to ignore | Specify custom filesystem type to remove. Multiple filesystems can be entered by using a space. To exclude a docker filesystem, you can also specify a filesystem type. For example, OVERLAY. |
Destroy Unmounted Filesystem on basis of Type | |
Ignore Persistance for NFS Filesystems instances | Select this checkbox to destroy existing unmounted NFS filesystem instances. |
Ignore Persistance for CDFS Filesystem instances | Select this checkbox to destroy existing unmounted CDFS filesystem instances. |
Ignore Persistance for PROC Filesystem instances | Select this checkbox to destroy existing unmounted PROC filesystem instances. |
Ignore Persistance for Custom Filesystem instances | Select this checkbox to destroy existing unmounted Custom filesystem instances. |
Ignore Persistance for Custom Filesystem | Specify custom filesystem type to destroy unmounted filesystem. Multiple filesystems can be entered by using a space. |
