This dialog box provides a means for you to specify and schedule operating system tasks.
Before you begin
BMC Software recommends that you should write a script for the task before scheduling it. The PATROL Agent must have read and execute permissions for the script.

Execute Script at: group box | fill in the following fields to schedule the task for its first execution - Month—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type a two-digit integer to indicate the month in which the task should execute
- Day—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type a two-digit integer to indicate which day of the month the task should execute
- Year—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type a four-digit integer to indicate in which year the task should execute
- hh—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate at which hour of the day the task should execute. Enter hours in military time. For example, if you want to schedule a script to execute at 4 P.M., enter 16 in this field.
- mm—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate at which minute the task should execute
- ss—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate at which second the task should execute

Repeat Execution: group box | fill in the following fields to indicate how much time should pass between task executions: - Days—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate the number of days that should pass between executions
- hh—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate the number of hours that should pass between executions
- mm—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate at which minute the task should execute
- ss—use the spinner buttons next to the field or type an integer to indicate at which second the task should execute

Execute Once Immediately option button | Select this option button if you want the script to execute once right after you finish configuring it. If you leave this option button unselected and the task is scheduled to execute in the past, PATROL will not run the script until the next repeat execution is scheduled. |

| type the full path name and file name for the output file, if the script writes an output file This field is optional. If you write a script that creates an output file, the PATROL Agent must have write permissions for the output file. |

| closes the dialog box without saving any changes on the dialog box If you click Close, the action will not be scheduled for execution. |
